Leather Prep is specifically formulated to provide you with the appropriate chemicals necessary for a permanent, long lasting repair. Additional Leather Prep may be required on larger projects.
Leather Prep is so much more than just a “cleaning solution”. In reality, it actually chemically reacts to leather and the finish of the leather to open the pores and enhance the absorption capabilities of the leather. This enables the repair materials and refinishing products to be more deeply absorbed into the leather, just the same as was done at the tannery, to create a long lasting, natural finish to the restored areas.
